Re: Art for games
I might as well throw up artwork done by someone I commissioned. To keep in the theme of the present convo, they will be the female characters!
First: Li-Fen, my Chinese fox shifter from Shadowrun. Taoist mage fox that's finding herself, with the competing ideas of her human upbringing and her fox nature. http://demonwulf.deviantart.com/#/d3fwilq Second: Autumn, also from Shadowrun, an escrimadora with wired reflexes. Originally came from the ghetto, and has built herself up to attend college, eventually getting into ecoterrorism. Kind of an "unlikely" background in summary, but meh: http://demonwulf.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d37wz9o Last is Atema, my cute cosmic horror shapeshifter. She was for a freeform RP I'm still a part of: http://demonwulf.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2x464e All three by the same artist.

Re: Art for games
As someone who lacks utterly in drawing skills I firmly resemble the person who grabs a random anime pic and says 'My character looks like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ami/tanya1.jpg , uhm, except she has BARs instead of flintlocks! But are all still mystic psicrystal looking'
Because if I can't find a random anime/cosplay/comic/whatever pic I like then the terrifying result is I'm forced to draw something like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3.../EPSON0082.jpg |

Speaking of which, two renders done in Studio, and rendered in 3DLight not LUX for a change. My halfling rogue for the impromptu Labour Day D&D game last week: https://secure.flickr.com/photos/jerril/6122011867/ I also did a Draenai from World of Warcraft as a technical test of something that spiraled off into a more complete portrait: https://secure.flickr.com/photos/jer...n/photostream/

Re: Art for games
Wow, almost 2 months. Well, I've been busy, but not always with art. Or, not all art I can show.
I'm trying to set up my Skydrive account to house my pictures so I don't run into problems with Photobucket deciding that some of my pictures violate their terms of service yet other versions of the same picture don't. Can someone test Gina Keebler and tell me if you see a mini-skirt-clad police officer? |

Re: Art for games
At least on my monitor her shirt and skirt and such are pure flat black with no texture, making her look like a 2d shadow
