Some questions on Summon Scout:
  1. Can the wizard choose the animal type? The text definitely implies that but it doesn't explicitly say something like, "Brings a rat or any other small mammal of the wizard's choice."
  2. Should this be a creation spell instead of a thrown spell? If not:
    1. Since this is a thrown spell, which hex do you target, the hex where the scout will be brought?
    2. Can the scout act on the wizard's turn or does it have to wait like a summoned creature would?
    3. There is no indication that it takes time for the creature to get there, does this mean it essentially "summons" the creature, even if it's from nearby?

Feh, yes, it's a C spell not a T. My bad. Thank you. And the wizard chooses what he wants. And wizards don't know exactly what is going on when they cast a Creation spell, so I don't, either.

(going to the edit interface now)

And the 3 ST cost for Pathfinder has been added :)

These new spells -- I like Regeneration a lot. It's been missing for almost 40 years! The one-week recovery is very good.

The other spells are also very good. I'm a huge fan of utility magic!

Can Summon Scout summon a slinker?

Certainly. It's mammalian and small. Useful little hands . . . ! Or, if you want brachiating ability, convince the GM that your character has seen a monkey.

What Regeneration?

(FWIW, if you mean some spell that regrows severed limbs, I wouldn't want that one. Sometimes less is more. i.e. I like that there can be people with lasting lost limbs from misadventure & war.)

Took me a while, but I found it. It's in the 160K update: http://thefantasytrip.game/news/2018...ctical-spells/

Thanks! I hadn't seen those yet.

Yep, I don't see that being known by anyone in my campaigns. Too much "crippling injuries don't exist for the middle class in this world" for my tastes. Lots of characters would be pressured to come out of retirement, etc. ;-)

I was thinking about this the other day and I reached a similar conclusion; there ought to be at least a point at which only a wish will regrow a limb. Maybe regeneration would only work on recent injuries or something.

Just make it cost more than most people can afford.

I don't have a great intuitive sense of what it would cost to have it cast.
