Default What would you like to see on #SJGamesLIVE?

In early December, we did a 7+ hour non-stop live Google Hangout! (Watch here if you missed it: http://bit.ly/SJGamesLIVE)

I'd like to start doing a smaller version of this on a regular basis and want to hear from all of you. What would you like to see on #SJGamesLIVE?
(Please note, just because you say it, doesn't mean we can do it.)

Also, if you have feedback on the last #SJGamesLIVE, here is the place for it!

Well, my favorite products are GURPS, Ogre, and Car Wars.

Other than those products, I'm always curious to hear people talk about how they make things, the choices that go into production development, and similar issues. I guess I'd appreciate a glimpse into the heart of making games.

I'd like to see a segment with Sean Punch that doesn't suffer from a dead connection most of the time.

SJ and several members of his crew have been in the game industry a long time, and in that time, a lot of new kinds of games have developed (CCGs, Eurogames, clicky games, cooperative games, etc.). I'd be curious to hear veterans discuss their perspective on how the state of game development has changed over the years. We're already seeing bits and pieces of how the new Car Wars is different from the old one. How would SJ Games do, say, a new Kung Fu 2100, One Page Bulge, or Raid On Iran?

We want Sean! We want Sean!

And also a review of Dark Dungeons.

Give us Sean Punch - also Steven Marsh - and you won't have a forum riot on your hands. ;-)

Yeah, I got your Sean and Steven (and others!) right here.

Heck, I see your Sean and Steven and raise you a Steve.

Couldn't resist. :-)

I like to see more GURPS content, from new developments, interviews through to short play sessions.

Kidding aside, showing some examples of how to make GURPS light and fun, and examples of cinematic play, would do well to give an example of how it's not a tenth-second-by-tenth-second slog that always takes eight hours for a short combat. I've seen it go fast, even with tactical options, and displaying that would be cool.

Generally, GURPS could use a bit more love.

GURPS isn't the only game that could use some love. Ride that long tail! Show us the older games that only got their Warehouse23 pages updated because the entire site was revamped during the W23/E23 merger!

If you want me to give a game system such as something that rhymes with in nom nom day some attention, I'm happy to do so, provided that the proper person is available to speak to it!
