(Yes, I know they're really just poor starved fishermen from North Korea, who died either hunting squid in Japanese waters or trying to flee NK, but that's not much of a story hook, is it?)

Stunning 2200-Year-Old Mosaics Discovered in Ancient Greek City
Is that Poseidon in the second image? Why does he have crab pincers growing out of his head?

I think I need to read those Wikipedia-articles closely to see if I could use that in some In Nomine-game. M.

Considering Salvador Alvarenga was at sea for 436 days and survived, I wouldn't think there'd be this rate of these fishermen dying in the timespan of a few weeks. Secondly, it's only 600-800 km from North Korea to the points they're washing up on- weeks seems like a long time to me, but I'm willing to concede to reasonable arguments here. Thirdly, some of the remains are described as bones and skulls. I'm not a forensic pathologist, but even with activity from sea birds this seems a bit advanced to me. Perhaps the North Koreans are releasing derelict ships with corpses on them for weird reasons- disposing of political prisoners, scaring their neighbours, or indeed attempts at biological warfare?

An arboreal robot with powersaws.
http://www.ruraldelivery.net.nz/2015...nd-management/ The picture doesn't really do it justice. It's a robotic arm with a complicated wrist at each end with a grab and a saw on each wrist. Weird watching it in action it grabs one tree, then swings around with the other end to cut down another tree. Grabs a new tree, cuts down the one it was originally holding. My search roll failed so that was the best link I could find. I did find a good clip of a hexapod logging robot in action though. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CgBNjdwYdvE

A neopagan cult of the Sumerian gods has been taken over by advocates of ending the tax which Icelanders pay to their church of choice who are dutifully singing Sumerian hymns until the law is changed and they can dissolve the church. I can't think of any way that could possibly go wrong ...
