Default Power Ups 4

I couldn't find this in the data file archives so, has anyone done or is working on a file for Enhancements.

If not, how would one go about implementing the "naked" enhancements on unarmed/melee weapon attacks. Should I just do the math myself and create a new advantage or is there a more elegant way to do it?

Specifically I want to give AP to my player's martial artist and perhaps some other enhancements as well.

I looked at doing PU4: Enhancements a while back, but it would be somewhat involved to write up as a GDF. I have been sort of hoping someone else would feel inspired to take up that particular challenge.

I would strongly recommend doing the math yourself and just creating a New Advantage for it. It seems to me that, with the large number of factors and variables involved, it would be very difficult to program those rules to do all the work for you. (I may be wrong, of course.)

It's not very complicated - it's really just buying an enhancement on an innate attack, and then you subtract the base innate attack cost. You make the user responsible for buying the appropriate amount of innate attack, as per the rules, and then proceed as normal. The "This is actually enhancing something you didn't have to pay the base points for" modifier would cost(-100%), and you can make it tier(2) to apply after all the other stuff is calculated if you like. This won't implement the "You can't take all these other enhancements" rules, but it gets the job done and it's VERY simple.
