Default the Spiritual Mind and Animus Intentio as AI

Looking at "Embodied Spirits" in the Template Toolkit II: Races and I'm noticing some similarities between the Animus and it's Vessel and the Digital Mind with it's Machine body.

The Animus (As I understand it) is an Un-aging, Reprogrammable spirit (often an Angel, Demon, Elemental or Ghost) that can't exist in our world without the Vessel they possess spiritually. This is treated like a template of mental attributes and traits which replaces any the vessel would have without the animus inside.

Lets compare this to the Digital Mind advantage:

Digital minds are storable as data in computers or hard drives while unconscious, and the Animus is a spirit so spells like Entrap Spirit and Soul Jar could do the same to them.

Neither Digital minds nor the Animus count as a “living mind” for the purposes of magic, with the digital mind counting as unliving technology and the Animus counting as a spirit.

Programmers can read a digital mind’s code, while mediums and those with Spirit Empathy can read the intentions and motives of the Animus, which acts like a sort of "code".

Hackers can control or reprogram a digital mind, and those with Ritual Magic and a True Name can command or reprogram the Animus.

Both the digital mind and the Animus can go from inhabiting one body to another. The digital mind is uploaded or possesses the body digitally, and the Animus is summoned or possesses the body spiritually.

Digital minds have no immunity to computer viruses and things that affect programs, and the Animus has no immunity to supernatural wards or spells that affect spirits.

Digital minds can be taken offline, and the Animus can be exorcized, banished or suppressed via supernatural means

Neither digital minds nor the animus age in any way, only the bodies they inhabit break down

Lesser spirits have lower intelligence and less free will, similar to lesser AI's limited programing.

Digital minds can be copied with duplication or compartmentalized mind, while some Animus in fiction are made up of multiple spirits inhabiting the same vessel and could arguably buy the same advantages.

Digital minds can buy extra life with backups, but need to be uploaded to a new body. The animus can be summoned back to the material plane but need a new vessel, so they could buy the same advantage.

The Animus is not immune to Telepathy the way a Digital Mind is, but instead renders the mind of the vessel unreachable, and is subject to spirit empathy rather than empathy.

AI's

With that in mind, could an Animus be considered a sort of supernatural AI? Lesser spirits might be similar to Drones, Weak Dedicated AI or Non-Volitional AI; while greater spirits or collectives of spirits might count as Volitional AI or even Mind Emulation. Animus Intentio could have an Expiration date given to them by whatever force summoned them just like an Artificial Intelligence, in which they would be banished from the material plane after a set amount of time.

Digital AI have Complexity limited IQ which is defined by the Tech Level of the setting and the cost of creating them, by contrast Spiritual AI's use either Sanctity Level or Mana Level instead of TL. Basically, instead of Complexity the Animus Intentio would have something called Awareness

AI's that are Drones summoned for just one task would simply be reprogrammable Automatons with an Awareness of 3
Dedicated AIs have Awareness of (IQ/2)+1
Non-Volitional AIs have (IQ/2)+2
Volitional AI's have (IQ/2)+3
Fully Sapient AIs (akin to digital mind emulation) have an awareness of (IQ+5)/2 Rounded up

As for the penalty or bonus to the Ritual Magic/Religious Ritual rolls required, which depends on the mana/sanctity level of the ritual's location:

Summoning an Animus would require it's true name, a vessel and a ritual roll, a margin of failure might determine if a less aware Animus is summoned. At certain levels of mana or sanctity summoning very aware spirits is impossible.

For each mana/Sanctity level, listed here in order form Very low, low, Normal, high to Very High, the modifier for each awareness level would be:
1: -2, 0, +2, +4, +6
2: -3, -1, +1, +3, +5
3: -4, -2, 0 +2, +4
4: -5, -3, -1, +1, +3
5: -6, -4, -2, 0, +2
6: -7, -5-, -3, -1, +1
7: -8, -6, -4, -2, 0
8: -9, -7, -5, -3, -1
9: -10, -8, -6, -4, -2
10: N/A, -9, -7, -5, -3
11: N/A, -10, -8, -6, -4
12: N/A, N/A, -9, -7, -5
13: N/A, N/A -10, -8, -6
14: N/A, N/A, N/A, -9, -7
15: N/A, N/A, N/A, -10, -8

Binding low awareness animus to objects might be a way to approximate computer programs for a low TL high fantasy setting, what do you all think? Should Spiritual Mind be an advantage for Embodied Spirits? Should Animus Intentio count as a Spiritual AI meta-trait of sorts?
