I know, it's not like we haven't heard enough about Ultratech erratum already...
In my friends hardcopy (and in my pdf) of Ultratech, the skinsuit description header, p. 178, states the TL as 10 - 11, while the Counterpressure Vacc Suit table, p.179, lists TL9, and there are no separate entries for further TLs (Compared to, say, the sealed combat armour table, which lists improved DR at higher TLs). Sooo... what's the correct TL here? Is this errata-worthy, do you guys think, or am I missing the obvious? |

I've always gone with TL9, because at TL10 it's competing with Smart Vacc Suits and Space Biosuits, and the Skinsuit is really just a sealed Protective Suit. I don't think it's ever come up though, as my players have no interest in something so lightly armoured (they view the idea of going into vacuum in less than a nanoweave suit with dread).

Sections on equipment are generally ordered by TL. Since the Skinsuit is the first section and comes before the Vacc Suit which is listed as TL9-11, I'd say the Skinsuit section was intended to be listed as TL9 (i.e., the table is correct, the section header is not).
