This was really good news! I planned to back this, but unfortunately I'm not allowed since I don't live in the US.... :-(

Why exclude us outside USA?

We have made many posts in our Kickstarter projects and the Daily Illuminator in recent years about the current challenges with international shipping. The most relevant one to answer your question is our post last summer discussing our decision to longer provide international shipping in our Kickstarter projects going forward.

Ah. I see. Too bad for me... I will have to see if someone I know in the US can help me. My wife has a cousin in California, and I have a friend in New Jersey who maybe can help me here...

I hope so! It pains me deeply both to give up sales (aiiiieeeee!) and to fail to provide games to those who want them. But, long story short, we were *losing money* on our international sales, even after pushing shipping costs up so high we got hate mail about THAT.

I hope things change. I think it will take an improvement in the worldwide situation. The world has gotten bigger, more expensive, and more dangerous.

So frustrating. I'll have to buy it when it comes out on w23. I love this game, but not enough to move to the US.

Yay! My good friend in New Jersey has promised to let me back Tribes and have it sent to him, and then he will ship it to me in Sweden! :-)

International shipping is a mess. That's a sad fact.

It would be nice if SJG could advise/ suggest a remailer.

From outside the US, it is sadly not easy to identify an honest, reliable and trustworthy third party among too many scammers. (Unless you are lucky enough to have a family member / good friend in the US) :)

To ease the burden on KS fulfillment to famously expensive Australia, I have partnered with a backer with a MyUS account. I send all the stuff to him in Oz, and he reships. It usually cuts per-package cost in half. Having done this a few times, and now interacted with them on a mistake: these guys are legit.
