Although GURPS Dresden Files would be swell.

Evil Hat Productions has got Kenneth Hite writing a part of the Dresden Files RPG. The Chicago chapter at least, IB. I personally can barely wait, and read almost all their pre-release notes.

When I finally get it, it'll get converted the second read through, if not while I'm actually reading it. Hopefully most of the setting won't need conversion, which is what I want anyway.

Ooh this book sounds perfect to me. I have a fantasy game in hiatus were the PCs have to leave their magically powered inter-planar traveling city and go forth and explore a mew world and found new cities. And they just have a decade to do it (well 9 years left now) before the old city goes poof (well more like BOOM!).

So this is magic with cities in it? Seems like a very wide scope, seeing as mankind has had cities for a long time, there again so is modern fantasy.

I am still intrigued and really want to see what's in it even though I did think it was more modern urban.

I should have spoken more of my planescape experiance when I put out my email rather than my shadowrun. Oh well both are urban.

IIRC Pyramidian Chad Underkoffler is the principal author on the project.
