Stonemaul's job right now is to be the beacon that lights our fight, and a defense. Vic's job is defend of both him and the team, including the other "squishy beings" (humans and non-humans).

Bain takes a DWA; he had the first arrow ready from the previous turn:

Bow 8 (13 +2 -4 -3: DWA, acc, range, vitals).
3d6= 8… success.
The attack lands:
2d6= 5.
It deals 5(2) *3 IMP damage (a total of 15 HP).

Just as before, the attack hits another man due to overpenetration, dealing 8 HP of damage to second bandit.

However, his attack stops with the fast-draw of a second arrow:
Fast-draw:
3d6= 18… critical failure.

No defenses were rolled because the bandits took an AOA.

Okay, good. You knocked out a bad guy and the penetration KOs another.

You drop whatever is in your dominant hand because of that critical failure.

Vic grits his teeth, not trusting his eyes, and takes one step forward, and tries perception to find the missing 2 enemies.

If Gathika's friends in the party are saying they can't see all of the bandits, then she will cast dispel magic on her turn.

Dispel Magic 14, successful:
Gathika: 3D6 → 10(6 +1 +3)

How close is Gathika to Telrith's back? She should be striking distance, I think. telrith is only 6 yards down the tunnel. She may have a chance to shout a warning: catfolk have night vision 5, negating the darkness penalty, she's presumably got a pretty high Per from a caster's IQ, they've got a basic -5 to their stealth attempt, they're moving at full speed, and any magic they were using just got dispelled. (the distance is close enough that it provides information beyond what was previously applied)



how far down the tunnel are Vic and Stonemaul? They should be in front of Telrith, I think, and mudman should be front of them (10 yards down the tunnel ... which means he's really close to the people who just stepped forward).

Gathika was mostly hiding around the corner instead of looking down the corridor, the hiding bandits have the Vanish Technique mastered, they have good Stealth and Camouflage skills, they rolled well, they were not using magic, and 6 yards still gives a small Range penalty to Vision rolls.

Yeah, Vic and the elementals are much closer to the swordsmen than you are.
