Default How to Purchase a complete Pyramid collection

Hi all. I've searched the forums but haven't found an answer to my question - how can I purchase a complete electronic collection of all Pyramid magazines? I'm driven by a desire to be able to read the references when an answer is given to a forum question on how best to do X? Why that happens to be answered in Pyramid issue ## page ##.

On Warehouse 23 I've found two products, Pyramid Classic Bundle #1-30 & Pyramid Volume 2 HTML Archive: The Full Collection. Are these what I'm looking for as the complete, definitive collection? If so I'm wondering why they aren't labelled Volume 1 & Volume 2 respectively, so I'm left confused.

Thanks in advance.

Pyramid Classic Bundle is v1, which is the 30 print issues of the original Pyramid run.

Pyramid Volume 2 is when it went to web format.

Pyramid Volume 3 Bundle is when it went to discrete one-issue-per-month PDF only format that you could subscribe to.

Pyramid v4 (example Pyramid #4/1: Fantasy/Magic I) is the current version currently at six issues and it's crowdfunded a few issues at a time.

Now it all makes sense. But YIKES!, getting a complete collection just got a whole lot more expensive with that #3 bundle, definitely puts the breaks on my aspirations. I didn't know that it was still running though, I will keep an eye on the next crowdfunder .

Thanks a bunch

Pyramid #3 Bundle is definitely pricey, but you can buy individual issues. It'll just wind up costing you more if you intend to buy more than about 60 issues or wind up buying the full bundle later.

I'm not sure why they haven't broken the #3 bundle up into smaller yearly bundles, as that would be more approachable than the full bundle at $500.

The best value is definitely the Pyramid #2 Archive. It has literally thousands of articles and will keep you busy reading for quite a while.

Also worth mentioning, if you are into Sci-Fi, is the JTAS CD-ROM which is currently sold by Far Future Enterprises after the Traveller license ended. They have two CD's of Traveller books plus a third with the GURPS JTAS archive on it, plus run a continual 4for3 sale so you can get a fourth CD free if you pick up all three.

Breaking it up would definitely make it much more palatable.

I am still eyeing grabbing the first two volumes.

I do like scifi but have never played Traveller, as a matter of fact I've never never played a scifi RPG. Intriguing milieu though, maybe one day.

Thanks a bunch!
