Yep. It's pretty sweet; I can totally see using it to create random NPCs of all sorts, including as the basis for almost any sort of humanoid adversaries. Great stuff.

I'm also particularly pleased to see good templates for the maids, cooks, and horse-guards my players like to hire the minute they get any money.

It is GLORIOUS!!!!!

Been enjoying reading through it from the inside out. Delicious. Delightful. Everything I had hoped it would be!

Honestly, while it's a basis for the foes, a good Fiendish Foes/Rogues Gallery supplement still has a niche. For a group of enemies, I'd want the options stripped down a bit and there to be some load outs, stripped down as well and with an eye to the PCs looting them.

Now, for more elaborate foes, this will be great.

Agreed. Personally, though, I'm quite happy with this + the DF loadouts book + DF 3 for creating humanoid foes. I'd still prefer for someone to already do the work mashing them together so I can just look it up, but it definitely makes it easier.

Oh yeah, more inspiration. I am going to give my players two torch-bearers on the next encounter that is taking place on an overcast night in a swamp. It will be very dark. Something tells me that the creatures won’t like the vile light and will want to kill the source of it. XD

It's not the book of enemy DF NPCs (it's the book of DF Henchmen!)

But it's still a useful thing, and that's a clever use that I didn't think of. Thumbs up for the idea.

Now the question is whether you can make GCA templates that include equipment. If so, combined with the DF statblock output sheet, you are at the "grab three templates and you have an equipped NPC" level of easy.

Keep in mind, the DFA (DF Adventure) has some cool "quick minions for bad guys" stat blocks.
