Boring gardens don’t stand a chance against flower seeds you plant with a shotgun

What’s a Flower Shell you ask? It’s exactly what it sounds like: a shotgun shell loaded with flower seeds. And no, just to clarify, you don’t stuff these things in the ground like little biodegradeable bulbs and wait for ‘em to sprout either – you actually load them into a shotgun and blast them into the soil like Rambo. The shells are standard 12 gauge (0.729 in, 18.5 mm) shotgun ammunition, but instead of being filled with birdshot or buckshot, they’re loaded with one of twelve different seed types. You can currently blast your choice of cornflower, daisy, poppy, sunflower, clematis, columbine, lavender, sweet pea, lupine, carnation, peony, or an assortment of wildflowers.

Question is if it works as well on demons.

Actually, there's a variant Holy Bullet for you: a Flower Bullet. Usable in Holy Pistols. When shot... *beth thinks*

When shot, it does the check digit of damage, but then... sprouts. After 2 rounds, the vines/roots/whatever emerge and entangle the being, who gets no Dodge roll -- but does get a Strength roll to rip the unnatural vegetation away before it starts enwrapping them. (Pulling it out causes no additional damage. Thank Novalis.)

If this fails, they are subject to a penalty to all movement-involving rolls, equal to twice the number of rounds since they've been shot. (2 rounds, -4; 3 rounds, -6, etc.) They may continue to try to break free, but their Strength is also penalized.

Going celestial or swapping vessels will work normally, but the vines stay with the damaged vessel...

Mortals may freak out at this... rather squicky, if low-damage, sort of entanglement. In GURPS IN, Fright Check time. (For that matter, a number of demons might freak out, too. Or angels. Or, y'know, anyone watching. It's relatively non-violent, but probably triggers all kinds of revulsions in people.)

US Army Wants Biodegradable Bullets That Sprout Plants

The DoD wants to do something about it, though. They're soliciting proposals for biodegradable bullets "loaded with specialized seeds to grow environmentally beneficial plants that eliminate ammunition debris and contaminants."

So does this mean Novalis has someone inside the DoD, a romance between Servitors of Michael or Laurence and Novalis, or a Servitor of Michael or Laurence who hankers after one of Novalis's attunements?
