Special Ops 1st edition, please and thank you.

GURPS Space was such a classic when it was released - nobody else had produced a generic space sourcebook telling you how to design your own SF universe from scratch. This book is also a reminder that Steve Jackson is a truly great designer - the rules are easy to read, but comprehensive. The breezy style makes it easy to overlook how much work has gone into every sidebar and every nugget of rules content.

I'm pretty sure I have the edition of Space made for GURPS 3e, and the one for 4e.

Is there much difference between Space 1e and 2e?

GURPS Space has at least 3 editions prior to GURPS 4th edition, those being:
  • GURPS Space
  • GURPS Space 2e
  • GURPS Space 3e

Where the edition refers to the book, and Not the edition of GURPS it was written for, as far as I know.

I have 2e and 3e in my bookshelf at home. The 2e is the classic 128-page GURPS book, and the 3e is a fatter book that has more content, but can't check the differences as I'm not with the books at the moment.

The latest GURPS News has Kromm describing both a short Pulver piece and a short Riggsby historical with the comment "we might be saving it for something."

A second tranche of Pyramid #4 issues?

I have no inside knowledge here, but the success of the GURPS 2020 PDF project would suggest another such project to me.

If my projects attracted over 2,000 people you better believe I'd try and replicate that success!

We have a new entry in the How to be a GURPS GM series. My pet project this weekend will be finding the syntax error in the rumor listing app. Seems like each year when I do the overhaul for the upcoming year I mess it up and finding the errors I introduced takes me a few weeks. This year has been particularly bad, sorry about that.

You should give me a shout if that happens. I can see the diagnostics. Fixed.

My understanding is the GURPS 2020 PDF Kickstarter would be on W23 after being sent to the backers. I thought I saw that they had all been sent out a while ago but I still don't see them on W23. Am I missing something here?

They'll be available on Warehouse 23 eventually, but probably not before the GURPS 2021 PDF Challenge goes live and is fulfilled. Our desire is to have people support Kickstarters when they happen, and part of that plan is to give backers exclusive access to what Kickstarters offer for about one full business cycle.
