That's one heck of an effort! I'd like to see it get a Daily Illuminator plug.

I really like what you've done as well Eric.

Surprisingly, what the internet needs more of in general is coherent guides to topics and items with narratives that add meaning instead of just lists of stuff.

You've really served this purpose.

I actually miss the old published catalogs for game companies and lines. A catalog forces a writer to curate and assess a snapshot of an offering that gives meaning to the collection being presented at a specific point in time.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. As I continue to get feedback I've added a few things to the article, including references to GURPS Update under the Edition Changes and 3rd Edition Adventures sections, as well as adding a Freebies category at the end which collects all of the free PDFs in one place.

I've given this some thought, but honestly I set the article up the way I did for a reason. There are two places I used the buttons to hide information. The first is at Edition Changes and How to play, and I did it there to hide a couple sections that may not be of interest to every reader and would just get in the way of the article.

The second place I did it was at the point of introducing all of the supplement books. There I very much did it to prevent the reader from getting blasted with information and overwhelmed. It also serves a secondary purpose of providing interaction and discovery, which I think is a good thing.

For the moment I've uploaded a second version of the article which converts all of the buttons into Headers, so everything is visible.

Amazing !

Regarding the collapsible headers, reading on a smartphone, it does help keeping the data manageable and you do get curious and expand articles, increasing interaction, but at first I missed that they were expendable. Perhaps including a graphical cue ? A down arrow, maybe ?

Without distinctness among the headers, this is a total mess to read now. I'd center-align the main headers, at least. Maybe double-column format the text under each main header? IDK, but you're better off with all the clicking than this, to me, even if I hate having to do unnecessary clicking. ;)

I was meaning to do something different with those, but put it off because I'm not very good with CSS & javascript. After some fumbling around I've made some changes to the page that should make it blindingly obvious that they are buttons.

Per some feedback I've received I've also done a slight rewrite of the first couple sections to take the negative edge off.
