Default Spaceship Element: Habitat (Sensie Room)?

Space is big. Very big. So astoundingly big that it's easy to imagine that on month-long trips from one star cluster to another (even when using plenty of FTL tech), one would appreciate the ability to escape "to another world" per se.

So for full-body immersion for a complete experience, what would make sense aboard a spaceship? I'm thinking of simply modeling sensies off of hibernation pods at four per cabin, with the difference simply being sensie equipment and processing power instead of cryogenic equipment.

What do you think?

Maybe at TL9 but by TL10 and on I think the tech would be simple and common enough to considered part of a normal load out for any long distance vehicle.

That was my first thought as well. KISS, and treating them as variant Hibernation Chambers certainly does that.

The other option is to treat them as a Holosuite or variant Holosuite from my Spaceships Optional Rules, which is just an Establishment with some added cost fo the Holographic equipment.

I imagine that a more arcade-style sensie room would be an Establishment, since it would have rows of hardware and a bunch of close seats.

Establishment or Hiber Chamber... it's a hard choice, really.

Except for ships manufactured in Spartan space where such immoral "intoxicants" are frowned upon.
