Reminder
I haven't seen any new Gurps releases at my local hobby store in a while. This is where me and my friends spend our gaming budget...well, most of it. Trying to support the locals.
Pathfinder is winning the majority of my budget right now. Just telling it like it is. |

Re: Reminder
If you are serious about promoting GURPS you should be telling this to your FLGS owner, not us. Why isn't he carrying any of the PODs or Low-Tech? Did you tell him about it? I told mine.

I didn't know that was a softcover release.

Re: Reminder
I don't think it's a stretch to assume that The Powers That Be are well aware of the release schedule, the current vagaries of the hobby, and a bajillion other data points you and I aren't. They don't really need a reminder.
We think about these things whenever the fancy strikes us. They think about them every, single, day. Good on ya for supporting local business! EDIT: P.S. - hopefully GURPS Horror will be slithering into shops sometime soon!

Re: Reminder
Horror will be out in hardcover later this year as well. Did you tell your FLGS about that?

Re: Reminder
Yes, I will be buying Horror from my local store as soon as it arrives. That is a promise.

Re: Reminder
Low-Tech was not "softcover." It was planned as a hardcover release from the start. The PDF came out first, but that is standard with all hardcover GURPS now.
And, for example, when I check GURPS Horror, which is currently at the in-between stage, I find that the book info page (as opposed to the e23 page) has the following at the top: 178 pages. PDF. Price $19.95 Stock number 31-1003 Always Available – Click here to buy! 176 black-and-white pages. Hardcover. Suggested retail price $29.95 Stock number 01-1003 ISBN 978-1-55634-803-7 In Production If you go to the e23 listing for any such book, and click on "official web page," it will take you to the book info page, which will tell you if a printed edition is out or in the works.
