And his partner in Science!, Raymond Stantz. They can alternate going out into the field and staying at base.
BTW: +1 to you, sir. Well played. :)

Re: GURPS Monster Hunters: what will you do with it?
Dr. McNinja, from the eponymous comic, would seem to qualify as a researcher/investigator + monster hunter, though I'm not sure if he's disqualified due to being a 'super' hero or not, though - depends on how wide of a net 'super hero' is, I suppose, and if McNinja's Rule of Coolness is considered a super power or not.

Re: GURPS Monster Hunters: what will you do with it?
That one definitely occurred to me but I haven't seen the series or read any of the books. I recently became aware of the two RPG game books available from Evil Hat that use the FATE system which I believe is a variant of the FUDGE system and uses an Open Game License (OGL).
I've heard Harry Dresden is a wizard who's a private detective. I assume he's a decent shot with firearms. How powerful a wizard is he? Does he use magic that's fast or slow? EDIT: Ok, I'm working my way through the series on Netflix instant view. Thanks,

Not familiar with any of the other characters. Can you provide some brief details and indicate description of which GURPS MH template they'd fall under?
