GURPS Supers provides versions of the enhancement for both ST and Telekinesis that DO boost damage.

On the other hand, boosting your ST via super-effort does take concentration, which normally requires a second to focus your will. Defensive moves are instantaneous. I could see an argument that you can't get "braced" fast enough.

Does that count for the Control too? (ie were you talking in general or just the the Lifting ST)?

If I were to apply it . . . and I'm not firmly decided either way . . . I would apply it to every form of Super-Effort.

I suppose you could add Reflexive, though. . . .

It would depend on the situation, the character, and the power. But, in a general sense, I would say yes.
