Default All that slitters is cold, as the fated stars align tonight

Does Cidri have the same Zodiac as Earth, and if so what impact does this have on spellcasting and magical creatures?

I decided that to use Earth's night sky. Various astronomy apps make it easy to determine the lunar phase for any night, and the Zodiac is already there. As for the stars' effect on magic, well, rumor on the Spice Road has it that certain alignments of the heavens create places and moments of magical potential. But, if you're prepared to believe every drunk Tsilit at a caravansary campfire, you probably think that Black Fire is real and that there are weird amorphous monsters that live in clouds of fog! C'mon! Really?

Wait! Shh! Did you hear that? ...

As an experiment, I put my current version of Cidri in a pocket dimension which only encompasses the local solar system. In other words, no stars! The only objects visible in the night sky are two moons and a number of distant planets.

I'm a fan of astrology as part of the culture of game-world magic; i've posted some new astrology related magic (fresh link below) and like to use the 'zodiac dice' that came out a few months ago. I just use 'normal' terrestrial, northern-hemisphere-centric zodiacal terms. I have only so much creative time and juice to pour into my games, and I don't like spending it making up alternate but essentially equivalent versions of familiar things.

This is really good. These spells capture the feel of the historical role of Astrology/Divination. Plus they are a goldmine for plot hooks. Nice work!
