It was closer to Conan then Arnold's movie, at the very least. I loved the New Conan, myself. Don't see what the heck everyone's complaining about.

And I'm stoked about this new release.

GURPS Barbaric Magic*. No IP issues.

*Just because The first Unearthed Arcana said Barbarians hate magic doesn't mean squat for GURPS.

After looking through the book, there isn't enough material in it for such a guide. Once you get rid of the mass combat system, there's as much crunch as a historical GURPS book.

The obvious assumption: A lawyer contacted SJ Games and asked them politely to cease & desist or else.

Technical issues ould be an euphemism for legal. Or it could just be very old layout files that got transferred wrong. From what I've heard, the PDF of GURPS China is absolutely huge because it's all just "pictures of pages" rather than actual PDF text. There could well be a truly technical issue with the Conan PDFs.

The G:C i got to download weighs in at 77MB. That IS pretty big. It's by no means the largest I've seen. I noticed no other issues, but then again haven't had the chance to look at it much.
