Default Rethinking Summoning

Over on a TFT Facebook group, some ideas were floating around about how to best handle summoning spells for creatures other than the limited offical list of summonable animals and creatures (Wolf, Bear, Gargolye, Giant, 4-hex Dragon, and 7-hex Dragon). I reallly liked the idea of a more open list of summonable creatures, but using a material component (a small statue) to put some limits on things. This is the result... (Originally I thought of submitting it to Hexagram, but I think it runs afoul of the "no new spells" in the wriiters guidelines.)

I'd submit it and let Steve judge it. That's not really a new spell. He's allowed a new angle on forced retreats and added elevations. (all optional). So it's a variation. But overall, I just send it. Worst that is going to happen is he says no.
