True, but it's still useful to define what the attack actually does.

Also, just had a weird idea that could be applied to a fantasy setting: Humans are the result of critical successes on Create Servant cast by e.g. dragons or elves. Alternatively, all the humanoid races are the result of ancient dragon-wizards experimenting on apes and/or monkeys.

My thought was the other way around......

Daniel Abraham's excellent The Dagger and The Coin has the races as dragon creations, and ambiguity about human origins.

I still like Pratchett's extradimensional dragons ... saves the D&D cliche of PCs working their way up from the draconic equivalent of murdering street kids. A million miles an hour or nothing...
