So he can screen teleports for about an hour, and that may impact other abilities of the demons...
It seems to me we have to take them out before the barrier goes down and change course to hinder their picking up the trail again. Vassarious will return to the waters without a tether and close some of the distance to their pursuers, remaining within the approximate bubble range, take them out as expediently as possible and then head back to the sub. Halcyone is welcome to ride monster-back or come along on a tether... |

As for being ridden, I don't think there is an advantage associated with sitting on a creature's back... but I could wiggle a point in there for Accessory-Saddle if needs be. I'm really not seeing a good way to modify V's six-pointed monster into a good mount... a good place to grip while being towed is about what I anticipate.
Let me know which option you pick. The attacks might be overkill, but the general movement and location of the demons does matter. Right now there are 8 of them following the sub, spread out with 30 yards between each of them, arranged in two ranks of four, one higher than the other, trailing behind the sub. Let me know how you attack.

Agree! Vassarious will use move and attacks and pauses in place for stationary ones so we can avoid some of the Move and drag penalties.
Disagree! We would have to cover more distance and get out of their path to the ship, putting us further from the sub than they are to come at them from the side. Then all they have to do is scatter (which is a BAD thing) and come at the sub from different vectors (or they can potentially teleport to the opposite side of the bubble and hit us from the opposite angle). We have to stay close to the sub, for a fast response to their actions, darting out to get them in range and then falling back if they edge around. So Vassarious will charge up far enough to get them into 50 yard range, and alternate between Attack and Move and Attack actions to stay between them and the sub while picking them off. |

Okay! Vassarious and Halycone tethered to each other and making runs back and forth sniping at the demons while we have extra guns and spotters on the hull... Sounds good.
Take them out and change course and we just may be in the clear! |
