I see your point. Since the first arrow dealt a lot of damage, I am picturing this as if the remaining archer hobgoblin had fell on his back on top of the archer hobgoblin previously struck in the heart by Vic; Bain's arrow passed through and got partially stuck in the target's body, so it filled the hole in the chest of the other hobgoblin when it fell, finding a way to his heart. Now we have a hobgoblin kebab.

Ajardoor just avoided us the hassle of waiting for corrections or wasting the attack, thanks ajardoor.

So the second arrow hit a melee hobgoblin, instead of landing on a dead body.

In my head it actually was like this.

The problem though, is that it makes my previous turn pointless. I guess the mix up is that no one knew who was engaged with what clearly.

I see, you prefer to fight the one you are already engaged with. It's OK, I can shift the attacks to the melee fighters if the GM agrees. This way, the party and you can gang up on the archer. Ajardoor and I might need to change our posts I will be waiting for news.

Can't take it back, the arrow let loose, flying true.

On the plus side, Kinclad is flanking the remaining enemy warrior.

Well, the room USED to have furniture set out in a reasonable way, but all that stuff got pushed over to the door at the back and apparently all that clutter was meant to act as a barricade.

The door looks like (if all that stuff is not getting too much in the way) a wooden and average sized example.
