Some weapons can only shoot once per turn, such as bolt-action rifles. Some weapons can only shoot once per reloading cycle, such as flare guns--but they still have Recoil stats.
Riddle me this: In what situation would someone use the Recoil stat for something like a single-shot flare gun? |

Yeah, there's no situation where those values actually matter.

Imbuements can bring Rcl into relevant status. It also matters if you somehow customize the weapon to have more than one barrel.

Well, if you craft a double-barreled version of something it matters. Or if you cobble together a mitrailleuse or some such. It certainly doesn't hurt to include the Rcl stat. It's easy to conceive of some other derived effect that is based on Rcl, too, like a penalty to roll vs. falling when firing while tightrope walking or some such.

It doesn't hurt, it's just a surprising truth that there don't seem to be any such rules published anywhere.

Bulk? Yes, very much. But Recoil? Increasing the weight and Bulk typically reduce Recoil. |

Exactly like that: a double-barreled version of the gun might have lower Rcl than the single-barreled version due to gun firing the same shots while being significantly more massive.

B271 states that "Firearms with RoF 1 still list Rcl, for use with certain rules".
I always wondered which rules are implied.

One example is single-action revolvers. They normally have RoF 1, but there are ways to fire them faster.
