Hello,

So if a monster will not pursue the munchkin below a specific level, you don't have to fight it and you've got none treasures and level, right ?

And if I chose to fight and win, I could still earn levels and treasures, right ?

It's not QUITE that simple.

You have to try to fight it, just like any other monster. If you end up Running Away, however, you don't have to roll for that monster; it doesn't bother chasing you and you get away automatically.

This distinction is important because if there are other monsters in the fight, you can't decide "I'm just ignoring this one that won't pursue me and fighting the rest." The monsters fight as a team. When you Run Away, you resolve the attempt for each monster independently, and that's when "will not pursue" matters.
