The Skeletons have HPT.
Your elemental was high enough DR that it suffers no injury. No injury means no shock.
The Skeleton has Weakness (Crushing, x2). It is injured. Badly.

I think that requires a Ready to switch first? Unless you have a Perk for it, Grip Mastery?
