Two of our players couldn't make our Infinite Weirdos game, so I spitballed a new game. It was only toward the end when one of the characters came up with a name (Ruby, the cop).
-- Ruby (OOC): “It’s a flash Mob” GM (OOC): “It’s a flash-ER mob.” Thief (OOC): “I will stop watching the mob.” -- GM: “Okay, let me sum up: It’s about 12:45 on a Thursday afternoon in May. You’re holding onto the frill of a Triceretops you saw running down the street. And you're hooting like a maniac.” Thief: “It’s the best day of my LIFE!” -- GM: “You can see that the psychopath is clenched from end to shining end.” -- Writer: “You’re pretty good at this police brutality thing.” -- Ruby: “We basically stole a car and parked it down the street. AND we stopped and asked for directions.” |

GM is reviewing my new Minotaur barbarian[1]
GM reads out quirk: "Absurdly fond of hats (FANCY hats!)" GM: This will be your doom later: GM: "DEAR GOD WHY POETRY" Me: "He's a romantic." GM: Bruno GM: I'm laughing so hard right now I can't see straght [1] No, I don't get tired of Minotaur barbarians, why do you ask? There's so much ground to cover. For example, this one has four arms!

Is that a Secret? I once knew a character who had the disad of Secret: Four Arms.

Said character is a magical mutant, so they'd need to remove a Social Stigma (Magical Freak) first - or swap it for a disad. Both could work.

Once our group was attacked in some dungeon by moving poisonous fungi things. Our spear-wielding fighter rushed forward, got hit and barely rolled his save against poison. He retreated, and, while other party members held their lines in the fight, every turn declared his actions as: "I rub my spear". This phrase became our popular expression for "Do Nothing". Not just in combat. For example:
GM: So, this evening you'll get meeting with local baron. What are you doing before that? Players: Just rubbing our spears till evening. |

From this afternoon's Skull & Shackles
"What happened in the last session while I was unable to attend?" "We won the allegiance of another squadron of pirate ships by mugging a troupe of actors and dumping them in the harbor." "You need to go and find Capt. Harrigan's former First Mate." "I thought we had his skeleton mounted on our anchor." "No, this is the former First Mate from before that." "Oh." "Save v. marinade." "Never mind that, Save v. Weird." "Oh, Blaede never makes those." "To release me from my eternal bondage you must anoint the heads of all six statues with water from the Sacred Fountain." "Oh cool! We just came from there." "So this session Blaede the Ninja gained a mohawk and a tiger?" "I told you he never made a Save v. Weird yet." "We don't have a name for our pirate fleet yet." "Well, since our lead ship is The Lady of the Stars I guess that makes us StarFleet."
