In Ars Magica-The Infernal a demons True Name is not just the name of the demon but the spell incantations to summon them. Thus the True Name of a demon is the spell ritual or incantation to both summon and command the demon. Knowing the True Name of a demon can also help to give a magical bonus to wizards casting spells against demons. In GURPS the True Name of a demon could be a spell know at a level which is used in a quick contest against the demon in question. If the demon loses then the demon must come to serve the wizard in one service and after that service the demon gets a chance to resist again. Even if the demon is under the control of the wizard, the demon will follow the letter of the command only and try to corrupt the command any way possible.
