Munchkin Quest
Anyone else read this on John Kovalics blog?
"It's not often enough I get to meet up with Steve Jackson Games' Steve Jackson hisself, and we had much to discuss. The prototype for Munchkin Quest (the Munchkin boardgame - pics next week) looked splendid. I believe that's slated for release some time in the Autumn." http://muskrat-john.livejournal.com/ Sweet! Maybe the old Hero Quest could get a facelift? How could a munchkin boardgame work? What would you like to see in it? Tell us what you think. PS: Steve tell us about it!

Re: Munchkin Quest
Personaly I didn't really like Dorktower, but maybe this was because I was really disapointed about the quality of the components, except the dice, the dice where godlike.
I can't wait for a munchkin boardgame! It would be bigger then cheese, and sweeter than Koetjesrepen! |

I did an experiment with my Munchkin cards and ‘Hero Quest’ (HQ) made by 'Milton Bradley' a well back (2004). I added in hand picked Munchkin (M) cards. For those of you that are familiar with the HQ game, what I did is: 1) Put ‘One-Shoot’ item cards with the HQ treasure cards. 2) Put the other ‘Item’ cards with the HQ artifact cards. 3) Put monster cards with the HQ monster cards. Every +1 bonus on the M cards would give a die role (attack die for weapons and defend die for armor) in the HQ game. Made up stats for the M monsters. Use card sheeves so you don't know if your getting an M or HQ card ahead of time. The Munchkin cards spiced up the old board game. I was lots of fun.
