Modified Advantages Cost Question

Hello,

If I have an Advantage that is normally 10 points but apply a net 200% modification on it, does it become 20 points (10*2.00) or 30 points (10*1+2.00)?

Reading Basic's entry at the beginning of the Advantages section seems like the latter, but I've actually not really used these rules at all in ages so I am no longer sure.

Just rewrite your question with a +20% modifier instead of a +200% one and you'll see why quickly.

Obviously, making something more useful by adding an enhancement to it should increase it's final cost, not significantly reduce it. The same math holds whether you're adding +20%, +100%, or +1000%.
