Yeah, so we have a lot of Geese by the pathways on the local rivers, and while they lack the Kleptomania of the Untitled Goose, they certainly share its sense of mean-spiritedness. They are very grumpy animals.

The white geese on the river round here are fine, as long as you don't bug them. Since they look like bulkier, more muscular swans, most people figure this out for themselves.

Agreed. Not just because they have long necks and so need it, but because it's consistent with observed behavior.

You have geese that are bigger and tougher than swans? That's the opposite of the relation I'm used to.

So they sometimes hold animals under water and drown them... which is horrific, but it is a thing they do.
