As the spirit's spells fall to pieces, V can see the remnants of the spells. Different Trickets each had a spirit attached to them. But those spells are gone, and the spirits are free, scattering to who knows where.

I call up the Villa to ask Pang Zhen if fate has been fulfilled, and if they know anything about "Aram the Ever-Dead".

Aram the Ever-Dead is a notorious world-walker who has gone from world to world over his long existence, trying to take them over. He hatches bizarre long-lived plots, tends to leave civil wars in his wake, and has both a vengeful and a sadistic streak.



Gurdo, on the other end, is quite happy to hear he is dead. "If you got Aram, you got a tyrant. Good work. Bring back his stuff and we'll make good and sure its him: this isn't the first time we thought we killed him"

V travels to the city, where he is given the task to "Deliver a Credible Threatening Message" to a Witch operating in the next city over. The council wants Gemeti the witch to know they are watching her actions and will curse her family in Macedonia unless she stops. They want V to not only speak, but impress her with V's personal danger.

Vassarious assumes their natural form, but turns their voice a louder and more disturbing, and appearance more menacing... adding a more constant lick of flame and waft of smoke rising from their nostrils...

Vassarious descends before the witch's home and blows a curtain of flame to cover the sky from the view before landing, and beating their massive wings to shake the house with an added gust of wind to complement the great tremor in the earth when the massive dragon lands heavily upon the street.

"Hear this, Gemeti. Be Warned! Your treachery does not go unnoticed and should it continue, it will not go unpunished. The Council has decreed that you will not bear your punishment alone, but you will incur a curse that it will be borne by your kin along with you, oh child of Macedonia!"
