Angry Birds. Best movie based on a video game, ever. And it's an app game! Hollywood, you're on notice; *good* video game movies are possible!
I was not interested in Angry Birds at all. I barely played the game. The trailers actively annoyed me. But the boys wanted to see it, and my wife was amused. So I got dragged along, very against my will, whining all the way. I was Wrong. I had a blast. The sequel isn't as good, but it's still an enjoyable viewing in its own right. |
