I guess John Henry can be a railroad man. I just thought of steel.

As long as Augeas gets politics.

It strikes me that Aliens take the roles of Angels and Demons.

The beautiful Nordic Aliens Cover the roles of angels and light elves. The Greys already look like goblins. They can cover the roles of Dwarfs, goblins, and Jinn. The Reptilians can cover the roles of devils, trolls, and efreeti.

Really John Henry is about pushing past your limitations. He'd be an inspiration to weight lifters, marathon runners, and anyone who works triple shifts.

There's also Rosie the Riveter as an Iconic figure, although maybe a bit of a flash in the pan...

Roswell. Not so much a deity as a spirit of an idea centered on a particular crash site.

Area 51. Likewise.

Hollywood. Goddess of the glitz and glamour of the movies.

The Atlanta Phoenix, has gone by other names (including several hurricanes). The embodiment of the American ability to come back from disaster even stronger than ever.

might not seem like it yet, but mythos like Slenderman or Annabelle could easily be tulpas with godlike aspirations, if you think about presence in modern consciousness the importance of both numbers and strong emotional reactions. It's possible more of Gen Z probably know about them than figures like John Henry Irons who were better-known in X/Y.

Those two are just the 'based on a true tale' horror figures. "Not based" horror icons like Jason/Freddy/Checky and maybe to a lesser degree Pinhead could also be present enough in the popular consciousness to manifest as collective tulpas.

If we look at popularity in the news, negative emotions often draw more attention (ie ratings) than positive rolemodels like John Irons or Uncle Sam (even despite their DC comics tributes)

I guess maybe even the western incarnation of Thor even though he originates in Europe.

Don´t forget a temple for the sole purpose of praying to the God of money, and direct next to it a Temple for the God of Debt.

A lot of the topics here are money related not to mention pooitics were with a empty purse nothing goes.

Sometimes I get the feeling that´s what most people pray for.
