Approaching the gates, you are met by a strikingly handsome warrior with a spear, backed up by six Giants 30 feet tall, two enourmous snakes, and an old woman bent over with age.

The handsome warrior speaks: "Greetings, Mysterious Travellers. I am Moskon, defender of the Bosporus. If you will swear an oath peace to me, I will swear an oath of peace to you."

Around here, oaths are sworn in magical rituals, and backed up by curses.

Is there a caste system here other than the lords and everyone else? Do they have shapeshifters or dragons in the norm in this place?

I suppose the castes would be slaves<random people<citizens<aristocracy

A shapeshifter with two forms is unusual, but within known experience. They don't have dragons, but its just another unusual monster form: its memorable in the way a pink convertible is in the modern US. Multiple-form shape changing is not known here.

I have this sneaking suspicion that I might be sorely tempted into breaking this oath later. "Very well. What do you need me to say?"

Well I guess it would be a bit much to just ask the witch here where we can find a fortune teller. Do we know what a witch's store (tent) looks like anyway? Or are we going to have to just head into a bar and start asking questions?
