Default Manchester Theater Festival stars a roleplaying game

The article is here.

The experience is being referred to as "immersive interactive fiction." The audience -- children, pre-teen -- are costumed, assigned the parts of a search and rescue team, and shepherded through a set depicting a spaceship crash for a Doctor Who story.

As RPGs go, it's a railroad, of course, but it fits every requirement of a roleplaying scenario I can think of except the possibility of a failure ending.
