Enemy Movement and The Boss

Couple of questions.

Enemy Movement with The Boss:
The boss is out, he never leaves the Entrance. Go that.

But if a monster is passing threw the Entrance, does he stop and join the Boss?

Let's say I am able to bring a monster into the Entrance with a potion. He joins the Boss. i get that- but what if I use something to get rid of one of the monsters. Can I? *answered*

By get rid I mean have them move to a different room. (This is at the non-boss monster)*answered*

We had 6 monsters plus a Boss in the Entrance, is this normal? (I assume this is now)

If he above is normal, what are strategies to fight the boss? Keep getting Dues Ex and Items by looting until you are beefy enough to enter? Hm.. I guess get someone else's help would be required..

If I am walking can I pass by him without fighting? *answered*

A monster walks right by a Munchkin of opposite base color in the Monster Movement phase right? *answered*

Monsters that pass through the Entrance during a Boss fight stop to join the carnage.

Only the Boss is protected; you can use cards to move or eliminate other monsters.

If you enter a room with a monster that does not ignore you, you are in combat. You cannot slink past monsters.
