Sloppy Seconds!
Alright... I've read the combat/running away section over and I don't see anything that answers this question... unless I just totally missed it!
If you try to combat a monster and are not strong enough... you have to run away... whether or not you dodge the bad stuff... as long as you're still alive... can you go back into that room and combat him again as long as you still have some move left? I just played a game where this happened twice... the other person I was playing with was basically the same level as the monster and the victory of the combat depended on the dice that both the player and the monster got to roll!

The reason there's nothing in the rules against it is because there's nothing in the rules against it -- if you want, you can try to fight a monster over and over until you die, beat it, or run out of Move.

Alright... it would seem I need the rules to tell me every little thing I can and can't do... I'm known to be a perfectionist!
