I don't have those figures (your guys' are bad ass btw) but I did sculpt and paint munchkin treasures.

Suggestions for anyone thinking of painting them:

1. Get the Reaper Learn to Paint Kit 2: Basic Skin and Cloth. Even though the miniatures are based on 2D cartoon art, they still have quite a few details to paint. Remember to get a Size 1 round Winsor and Newton Series 7 paintbrush. Use two rinse jars, each with a drop of dish soap.

2. Get a black 005 micron pen. These miniatures, such as the teeth of the Munchkin with chainsaw, have straight lines that are more easily "paintable" with a pen than a paintbrush.

3. To paint red, first paint a coat of pink (or flesh). Then paint red on top of it.

4. To base you figures, paint them black. Then, after painting the feet of the miniature, paint the base with glue. Dip the base into sand, such as playground sand. Wash the sand in black.
Will you upload your result?! :)

I also started by painting the figures black and then added colors. Then I did highlightling (i.e. mix white and color and add in certain places: on the nose and on other parts and stick out a lot...)
