Angry Ogre cartoon
Angry OGRE!! The MK. V Ogre runs amok and really, really wants to get that pesky GEV!! A fun cartoony version of the mighty cybertank from the famous and classic Steve Jackson game. I admit to being a big fan of OGRE, and have loads of the miniatures in my 6mm Grand Army. After the dealing with cancer the last few years, I'm starting to get back into my "art groove" and this idea just popped into my head. https://www.deviantart.com/artraccoo...-MkV-912662783

Re: Angry Ogre cartoon
Reminds me of Rivets (another of SJ's games from long ago).

Re: Angry Ogre cartoon
That's awesome. I could totally see this as in-universe nose art on some GEV-jockey's ride!
I don't know what's more frightening, the image of the Ogre as angry, or the image of the Ogre as a unstoppable icy-calm advancing glacier of nuclear artillery fire, but I do know what makes a better cartoon :) Great job! |

Re: Angry Ogre cartoon
My bad. I thought that was SJ's design. Good little game either way. :)

Re: Angry Ogre cartoon
IIRC, there were cross-over rules combining OGRE and Rivets in the 1st edition of "The OGRE Book."
