That's what he was using before...

He thinks there is a gate somewhere to the... fast little cog direction. He's not sure how far.

This is an utter failure. The escort suggests that perhaps giving him "american" would be a more useful test: he's never had that done to him, but several soldiers, priests, and city leaders have had that transferred via gift.

The instructions for "american" presume that the priest granting doesn't know it, and requires a "source" of the language..

He will attempt to concentrate and manipulate this flow... can he change it? Collapse a portal and stop the flow?

He is anxious to hear back on the finality of the deal and if the prisoners will be released, and he wants to talk to the American prisoners he was housed with. Before they are released, Peter wants to explain the situation and ask them about being part of a council to help the Thuromans make reparations for the kidnapping of the Americans and help to come up with a system of fair trade.

Merely concentrating on the flow has no effect. Peter can sense the flow of magic, but he doesn't have any ability to effect it without instructions or seeing how overs do so.

No, he gave the man the "local language"... which turned out to give him a rather archaic and formal version of the language the man normally speaks.

Given the time Peter continues to experiment with what he can and can't do and try and apply the aspects in novel ways.

Peter can see the flows working as he tries various things... maybe if he saw the process himself...

He is anxious to hear back on the finality of the deal and if the prisoners will be released, and he wants to talk to the American prisoners he was housed with. The negotiations drag on-- Kyridas thinks it will be two more days. Kyridas agrees to let him visit the Americans who are being held hostage. Does he want to meet with the "important ones" he was kept with or the main group?


If he dreams, will he take the opportunity to go to the divine village?

If Peter finds himself traveling, he will try and steer his way home to his family for a few days.

Peter starts dreaming of a US military camp outside of a modern town... but he focuses instead on going home to visit his family. It works. Peter wakes up in his own bed, with the glowing alarm clock showing 1 AM.


Reguardless whether he finishes the night in his bed or gets up now, His parents are very happy to see him.



His mother asks: "Is this just going to keep on happening? Again and again? Are these places dangerous?"

Peter curls up and sleeps for a few hours in his own bed before visiting with his parents and taking a long shower.

Peter does his best to break it to his mother that he has no idea... He tells her he feels like he is gaining some control and was able to get home on purpose, but that he's hoping his control keeps growing.

Dangerous? He tries to downplay how scary it is and says that "It can be a little dangerous I guess until I get the hang of how things work in a place."

He lets them know he plans on being home for a few days before going back and trying to help some people on one world talk to some on another, and that if he does it, a whole lot of people will be better off.

Peter will spend a few days at home recharging his batteries and writing his book chronicling his adventures as if they were fiction. During this time he will see if he can sense any gates around his neighborhood now that he knows how to look for them.

At some point, his parents look at Peter a bit strangely when they realize he now has the habit of sharing almost everything he eats with Goliath.

Also, he will experiment and try and give his father another language (using household ingredients to replace the incense he's seen used before in working the magic from the world with the broken sky).

He is able to give his father the language of the priests of the clockwork sky world. His father says its quite strange, and asks if the same people are teaching him all the different tricks.



After 2 days, he starts dreaming again... this time of the divine realm, the space full of drifting stone structures. Which world is he aiming for?

Peter will explain the situation with the world with the clockwork sky to his father as well as he can, and how he is trying to improve their situation and his plan to get them to stop attacking their neighbors and start taking care of their own people.

On education, he says "I get it, but I am learning lots of stuff all the time, and stuff you can't even learn on this Earth! And I am learning my tricks from all over.

On food sharing - There may have been resistance to Peter feeding Goliath from the table, and he likely had his own diet at home. While it was very likely Peter would share a bite of his food with Goliath before, he pretty much splits everything with him now as a habit.

Before the two days have passed, Peter will slip out and range around a bit and see if he can pick up on any portals, especially where he found one on the other Earth that led to Thuroma.

Peter will aim for Thuroma, unless what he sees in the vision of the divine realm is compelling.

How hard is he studying the "home" materials his parents brought him? they try to get him to keep a low profile while he's at home. Of course, they're usually at work...

Peter will aim for Thuroma, unless what he sees in the vision of the divine realm is compelling.

Peter arrives in an open field quite naked. He can feel portals off in the distance... maybe miles away. It seems to be the place he showed up in this world the first time.
