The luck got used on the first set, so you only get one more set of security before heading home.

I'm confused - why did we only get two men?

Got it. I said, "Let's shoot for another four pairs of security (10 total), and if we're still doing well at that point, we can amend our plans." I didn't intend for it to be, "stop after I've used Luck", just that doing too many at once would invite some critical failures and I only had one "insurance card" to play against it.

Anything else to do this shift?

1st shift starts 102 hours after dropping out of hyperspace: Pacficia and Daymar should be asleep, Hua will be assigned work around the hyperdrive core.

I suppose I delivered the names of the subverted guards to the arranged message drop point and found no messages. I'll try to determine if the hyperdrive repairs are going well or not. I think an observation roll will do (even if I can read the fancy graphs and stuff, I can read whether the technicians look happy, right?)

Hua, are we going to quit while we're ahead? I think it was a productive shift.

I'm in favor of that. Then again unless we do something else in between (is it meeting day?) there's effectively no difference between taking a break and continuing.

I guess you're right. Do you want to try for the entire shift, or just move forward one pair at a time and cut and run if things go bad?

Well I think we can kill a bunch of time with the meeting and perhaps with sabotage. Maybe if other stuff happens too. So maybe it would matter? A 20% chance of unrecoverable failure is a bit high for me.
