Re: Can you Aim a Thrown Grenade
In 3e, if you didn't have Throwing skill, it was DX-3 to hit a target or DX to hit a hex. You might have run across a house rule that took that the mean a character *with* Throwing skill got a +3 to hit a hex.

Re: Can you Aim a Thrown Grenade
Don't know that much about baseball, but it seems they take a little extra time looking at their target before throwing. Could it be, in GURPS terms, they are trying to get the extra plus for extra turns of aiming? If that is true, could the same be done for a grenade. Of course, remember, once you pull a pin on a grenade, you don't want to spend too much time aiming with that baby.

And yes, you can Aim. ACC is 0 I guess, so only 2 or 3 turns of aiming makes a difference. The only real difference mentioned for "indirect fire" is that it often has a minimum range. Other details as for any other ranged attack, including size of target.

And i think that don't help aiming, unless you have precision aiming, since, the max of extra bonus equals to Basic Acc. |

Re: Can you Aim a Thrown Grenade
That and the lack of targeting optics on a grenade make it useless to have precision aiming, but the basic +1 to hit for the second and third seconds of aim are not so constrained.
