Blessed seems inappropriate, given Johnny states he knows accepting the bet may be a sin. Higher Purpose (Play Fiddle) would work if the Devil were cheating by setting up some sort of obstacles (broken bow that needs repaired/replaced with an improvised one, sabotaged rosin, a wall of fire between Johnny and his instrument, etc) that Johnny would need to get past to be able to complete his task - that is, if he needed to roll against something other than Musical Instrument (Fiddle) - but as it stands just pumping those points into skill is a better option. Luck wouldn't be remiss - granted, that would mean the Devil could potentially beat him by immediately taking him up on the offer of a rematch (so his Luck doesn't have time to cooldown), but then I did give Johnny Overconfidence...

One thing Vida is NOT is diplomatic. She's more likely to start a general brawl and slip out in the confusion than to even try to smooth things over with anyone.

I suspect it had nothing to do with the song, seeing as the author is from Australia, but in the superhero webcomic Magellan, one of the earliest supers was The Streaker, a superspeedster who was actually markedly faster if running naked, although everyone just assumed he was some sort of pervert. He later vanished, and it's revealed - in a voting-incentive bonus comic - that he ran so fast he merged with the "Streaker Synergy," basically that setting's equivalent of the Speed Force. Other speedsters can actually tap into that energy by opting to run naked, but this is kept secret (and those speedsters in the know avoid being seen while doing so) to avoid getting ostracized as perverts like the original (it's also indicated they can eventually learn to tap into it while fully clothed, but it's advised they still streak from time to time to keep the link up).

Wood Man was also one of the many Robot Masters in Megaman II who was vulnerable to Metal Blade; I didn't realize he was weak against Air Shooter and Crash Bomb as well. Humorously, I believe he was also one of the few Robot Masters who could be killed before the fight started with a well-timed use of the fully-charged Atomic Fire (due to the elevation Megaman starts at, timing things perfectly results in Wood Man falling on the projectile before his health bar has a had a chance to fill, which instantly kills him; I only managed to pull it off once)... but that's probably not necessary to note in his stat block...

Not exactly a song, but:

Lieutenant Kije'
Standard template for a 19th or early 20th c. Russian military officer plus:
Advantages: Charisma; Daredevil; Destiny (Hero's Death); Extreme Luck; Higher Purpose (Save Russia's military fortunes on a tactical level); Reputation (Heroism, Large Group, 12-); Reputation (Outstanding officer, Large Group, 12-); Serendipity; Talent (Born Soldier); Unusual Background (Spontaneously generated as a result of a bureaucratic error); Zeroed.
Perks: Alcohol Tolerance; Honest Face; Looks Good In Uniform; Wordless Influence (Look of Eagles - allows a Leadership roll with a firmly set jaw and steely gaze).
Disadvantages: Compulsive Behavior (Heroism); Secret (Not a real person); Terminally Ill (Will die once fictional origins can no longer be covered up).

An idealized Czarist or WW2-era Russian junior military officer, called into being as a result of a bureaucratic error, who subsequently had a short-lived but brilliant military career. Despite his meteoric rise in rank, his career and even his existence, were out of his control.

Instead, he was the short-lived embodiment of the Russian bureaucracy's corruption, incompetence, and ability to tell bare-faced lies to their superiors. While he was originally used as a convenient scapegoat every punishment resulted in him being put in a key position to save Russia's military fortunes, usually due to random chance.

Over time, the bureaucracy and the military leadership ascribed every military success the Russian army enjoyed to Kije, even in the complete absence of Russian military presence or organization. Kije finally became so famous that the Czar/Party Secretary wanted to return him to St. Petersburg/Moscow to be decorated, at which point the bureaucrats covered their original error by claiming that he had been killed in battle, ending his existence.
