OK, it's a little late but I'd like to clear up something up; is it possible for Hua to check if the Photorefraction worked right or am I correct in blundering into danger?

But you have the ability at level 10, right? You are invisible if you succeed; AFAIK you just need to re-roll every minute; can Hua see her hands... or how does it work for you?

Thinking it over...

I'm thinking that to check if it worked perfectly you need a mirror or camera, held at farther than arms length, or an assistant. An imperfect job still does obscure who you are though... its a failure of construction, not a failure to work at all.

how does that sound?

That sounds fair enough. Now I guess the decision is whether Hua's stubbornly rolling forward or there aren't any mirrors around (or any such mirrors are too risky).

Mirrors are in the bathrooms ... which are minor chokepoints, but your foes are taking their time, and she's stealthy as it is...

So a mea culpa on part of the GM: Nijothu was initally discovered in the sheilds section working third shift, but most of the actual action surrounding him has him as a stationary Hyperdrive engineer on the second shift.

I made that change, and it was my job to keep it strait. Gnomes can choose which of the two he is. Daymar is qualified for both positions. The hyperdrive section requires less retconning, but is probably an inferior setup (being closer to the original problem and limiting Daymar's mobility during the work day).

With a game that has been running for this long, it's an easy mistake to make. The assignment in the Shield's section is preferable, so if it's not too much trouble let's please retcon that.

You're very kind to overlook such things.

I'll maintain that he works in second shift though. That means the shifts line up like this:

first shift: Hua works, Pacifica and Daymar sleep (daymar can't come)
second shift: Pacifica and Daymar work, Hua is off (Pacifica can't come)
third shift: Pacifica and Daymar are off, Hua should be sleeping

We're currently at the second hour of the first shift.

@ericthered: If Daymar eats one contaminated meal, does he know what effect that will have on his abilities?

Yes, it will shut them down for 48 hours, then have them slowly return over the course of another 48 hours.
