I admit I'm now confused as to what the difference between overpledging for add-ons and "Backerkit credit" these seem identical to me. Can anyone explain the difference?

In a few previous campaigns, there were reward levels that offered BackerKit credit. As an example*, like a $50 reward that included $60 in BackerKit credit.

This had to be used in BackerKit, by the deadline and did not transfer. We encountered multiple instances of backers thinking this was Warehouse 23 credit that they would have access to for as long as they wished. That was inaccurate; the credit was for BackerKit and had to be spent by the deadline.

* I don't think this was a real option, but this is roughly the concept.

I've done similarly. I'd started by putting more onto the Kickstarter, but just cut that back to $6 after spending the money on W23.

I really like the "buy on sale at W23 and it goes towards the Kickstarter" and I picked up a few items on top of backing. I'd be keen for this on future campaigns, too.

I also appreciate that there's a total of the W23 spend being shown so you can work out the contribution and see how close the next unlock is, for example.

A really good idea, imo.

I'm missing a couple dozen books (Classics all) so I might try to pick up a few more before the campaign ends. Mostly stuff that can help me with my current campaign.
