Re: Looking for Munchkin Blender
That seems an odd question. Munchkin 7 is changing from "More Good Cards" to "Blender" - such that the key differences between M7B and the original Blender are (a) the color scheme and (b) the text changes as a result of the 1.5 rules...and the "Go Up A Level" set will fix most of the latter. As noted at the link, the cards in M7MGC that are not in Blender (and, thus, not in M7B) will become a booster-sized expansion.
So, by the time GUAL and M7B hit the shelves, the color scheme will be the only meaningful difference between the old and new Blenders. |

Re: Looking for Munchkin Blender
This is a continuing source of confusion, I'm afraid.
Blender is being rebranded as Munchkin 7. It will have the same 112 cards as the current Blender, with updated text (both to account for the changes in Munchkin 19th printing and for the sets that have been released since 2005) and a color scheme that matches the other fantasy Munchkin sets. There are 14 cards from the current Munchkin 7 - More Good Cards that were original to that set, not pulled from Blender. Those 14 cards, plus one new card, will be put into a booster set, whose name we are not quite ready to reveal. Both of these sets will ship in the first quarter of 2011.

Still confused...
Oh I see, yeah, yeah. So listen..." -darrell (madtv) Quote:
Blender states it has 112 cards. So where are the missing 56 cards? So Munchkin 7 - More Good Cards will be revised? So what your saying is that I can essentially have the cards that would be in the Blender booster, by sometime first quarter of 2011, with Munchkin fantasy backs? |

Re: Looking for Munchkin Blender
There's a reason I distinguished between M7B and M7MGC.
M7MGC is going away. Purple-and-white Blender is going away. M7B is a new product: Blender, updated for the 1.5 rules, in Fantasy style instead of purple-and-white. The unnamed booster is another new product, containing the cards that were created for M7MGC which will thus not be in M7B, because they weren't in purple-and-white Blender. That way, those cards don't go away. All clear now? Last edited by RevBob; 07-25-2010 at 02:29 PM. |

Re: Looking for Munchkin Blender
If I bought an old [purple] Blender set (is anyone selling an unused one?), and the GUAL set would I effectively have the new Blender set with purple backs?
(I REALLY want the purple and I'm so sad I missed it; I don't have any fantasy munchkin sets) ________ VTX1300S Last edited by MiniMunch; 01-26-2011 at 05:58 AM. |

Re: Looking for Munchkin Blender
Pretty much. It's not going to be identical, of course; every set has some cards that got minor changes which didn't merit replacement. Monster Enhancers are a prime example; it's just not worth taking up the slots in GUAL to change "to Level of Monster" to "to Monster" and delete "(Minimum Level 1)" on all of them.
