Out of interest what does your newer spread sheet get those rounds to be?

The figures I got out of your older calculation here where:

.600 as 11.81 dice of damage
.700 as 11.55 dice of damage

Which are a bit higher than HT (but I could have got them wrong)

Cheers

900gr at 620m/s is 10d+1 out of about a 16.5" barrel. Heck, I owe a reloading press. I'll do this one.

They may not be very effective by today's standards, but Rule of Cool.

10D Is still nothing to sneer at and .600/15mm probably is around the minimum size for explosive rounds. The RAUFOSS round is sort of cheating to get a sort of explosion out of a 12.7mm.

Gurps also privileges 15mm rounds. They (and other P++) get twice as much damage v. Unliving targets at any given number of dice of penetration be they zombies or simple vehicles. Doubling the tissue damage to living targets is generally not as important.
